The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation for young people interested in ponies and riding. Founded in England in 1929, and granted independent charitable status on 1st January 1997, there are around 330 Branches and 400 Centres in the UK alone. The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members and medal winners.
The Pony Club is represented in no less than 27 countries with a worldwide membership exceeding 110,000 making it the largest association of young riders in the world.
We run weekly pony club rallies working towards achievement badges, efficiency tests and centre competitions. We also run our summer Pony Club Camp here at Eccleston Equestrian Centre, where campers spend the whole week 24hrs a day, learning all things horses, riding, demonstrations, musical ride, industry talks and our camp competition. Our pony club is for children aged between 6 and 18 years old and split into groups to cater for all abilities.

We are pleased to welcome back our Unaffiliated Dressage competition league over four new dates.
1. Competition Dates

Points will be awarded to the top six placed horse and rider combinations in each qualifying class:
Placing – 1st Points- 6 Points
Placing – 2ndPoints – 5 Points
Placing – 3rd Points- 4 Points
Placing – 4th Points- 3 Points
Placing – 5th Points- 2 Points
Placing – 6th Points- 1 Points
No league points will be awarded for placings below 6th.
3. League Class Selection
Each horse and rider combination must select one class/level to compete for the Dressage League Championship.
A horse and rider combination may enter and compete in more than one class at an individual competition, where permitted by the competition schedule. However, they may only be registered for one class/level for the purposes of the Points League.
The chosen class/level must be declared at the beginning of the series, before points are accumulated.
For example, if a horse and rider combination competes in both Intro and Prelim at all four competitions, they must choose either Intro OR Prelim as their Points League class. They cannot be eligible for both championships.
Once a class/level has been selected, it cannot be changed during the series.
4. Qualification
To qualify for the Dressage League, the same horse and rider combination must:
Compete at all four competition dates;
Register for one class/level at the start of the series; and
Compete at their selected class/level throughout all four rounds.
A horse and rider combination that does not compete at all four dates will not be eligible for a league championship, regardless of the points accumulated.
5. Horse & Rider Combination
League points are awarded to the specific horse and rider combination.
If a rider competes more than one horse, each horse and rider combination will be treated as a separate league entry. Points cannot be transferred between horses or riders.
6. Champion & Reserve Champion
At the end of the four-round series, the league points accumulated by each eligible horse and rider combination will be totalled.

The Championship titles, prizes and awards will be presented at the Dressage League Championship Show on 12th December 2026.
In the event of a tie on league points at the end of the series, the horse and rider combination with the highest overall combined collectives will take first place.
7. Withdrawals, Eliminations & Non-Completion
A horse and rider combination that withdraws, is eliminated or does not complete a test will receive no league points for that competition.
The combination may continue to compete in subsequent rounds; however, they must have competed at all four competition dates to remain eligible for the Champion or Reserve Champion title.
8. Changes & Cancellations
The organiser reserves the right to amend competition dates, classes or arrangements where necessary. In the event that a competition date is cancelled or unable to take place, the organiser will determine how the Dressage League will be affected and will communicate any changes to competitors. The organiser’s decision regarding the interpretation and application of these Terms & Conditions will be final.
